Explaining the relationship between architectural perception and individual components of the user in the body of public spaces (Case study: Zand St., Shiraz)
The architecture of public spaces is a place for the integration of cultural diversity and the presence of different social currents. In these collective spaces, there is the possibility of innovation and plurality of artistic ideas, and therefore, collective spaces have become a sign of the common architectural taste in their context. This research aims to receive a complementary process for designing public service spaces by receiving field data and sociological analysis and to monitor the general attitude towards the specialized field of architecture. Most studies have focused on the role of architecture in human behavior, which is called "environmental psychology"; But the view of architecture as a habit and a product, which changes over time and the presence of the user and can change the nature (perceptual / objective) resulting from collective behaviors, is a topic that is less discussed. Now the question arises that what pattern follows the architectural perception and components that are effective in understanding the public space from the users' point of view? Developing a pattern of public perception of architecture can be effective at the time of design and in the production of design methods based on the active presence of users. According to the study of this study on the statistical population of 1200 people and monitoring people's perceptions of the subject of architecture of public spaces, it can be said that social identities live in a different perceptual space of the subject of architecture. Individual and group features have different readings of the architectural problem, the sorting of which, in terms of the parameters in the building, becomes a model for the design of public spaces.
