Investigating The Relationship between Communication Skills and Academic Burnout among Students of Bu-Ali Sina University in 2017-18
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between communication skills and academic burnout among undergraduate students at Bu-Ali Sina University in Hamedan. Students studying in the academic year of 2017-2018 and the volume of the community are 7087 students. The method is descriptive-correlational and 460 individuals were selected as sample to collect the required data. Two standard questionnaires, communication skills test and academic burnout test, have been. Validity of the questionnaires was content validity and their reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.77 and 0.83, respectively. Collected data were analyzed using inferential statistics such as t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient in SPSS software. Based on the results of this study, the mean of communication skills was 2.62 and the mean of burnout was 1.42, which shows that there is a significant reverse relationship between communication skills and academic burnout, so that those who have skills Had a higher education, reported less academic burnout.
