Designing a data model of the Quality-Based Education Foundation in higher education
The current study aimed at designing pattern for educational services quality based on students' satisfaction. A qualitative and quantities research method was employed. The sample for the qualitative part consisted of 20 faculty members and experts of Islamic Azad University, while the sample of the quantitative part included 32000 people, out of whom a sample size of 384 was selected based on Cochran Formula and through simple random sampling. The research instrument included an interview and a researcher-made questionnaire consisted of 53 questions. Based on the analysis of the qualitative data obtained from in-depth and exploratory interviews, coding and content analysis of the texts of interviews, and corresponding them to theoretical principles, the findings of the qualitative part of the study indicated that the factors effective in quality of educational services included Educational Equipment And Facilities (4 factors), University Staff and Authorities (7 factors), Educational Services (7 factors), Students (4 factors), University Professors (8 factors). The findings of the quantitative part indicated that Educational Equipment and Facilities having factor loading of 0.89, University Professors having factor loading of 0.828, Educational Services having factor loadings of 0.821, Students having factor loading of 0.77, respectively achieved the first, second, third and fourth ranks of effectiveness, while University Authorities having factor loading of 0.63 had the lowest impact on educational services quality. Considering the obtained results, various factors affect the quality of educational services provided by the university; therefore, it would be better to take meritocracy into consideration when selecting the university chancellor
