The Relationship between Loneliness, Perceived Support and Marital Satisfaction with the Use of Virtual Networks among Couples in Tehran

Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to explain sociological explanation of loneliness, perceived support and marital satisfaction and its relationship with the rate of use of virtual social networks and Internet among couples in Tehran. In this research, based on the nature of the subject, a survey method and a questionnaire tool were used. Data analysis is done through the spss software. The statistical population of this study is all married women and men living in the 2nd, 6th and 15th regions of Tehran in 1397. Data were analyzed by SPSS software.Findings indicate a significant relationship between research variables. There was a significant negative correlation between loneliness variable and emotional support and marital satisfaction variables. There was a significant positive correlation between emotional support variable and marital satisfaction variable and there was a significant negative correlation with internet usage variable. Marital satisfaction variable had a negative relationship with internet usage variable.
