The significance of setting a valid model for the analysis of literary texts is inevitable. Thus the attempts in this regard date from the history of first Persian literary texts. This significance is deemed even more necessary in prose research than poetry research because Persian language and literature researchers as well as readers have already paid more attention to poetry than prose. Using already conducted research in this area and with reference to the introduction of Abu-Mansuri Shahnameh the oldest Persian prose, the present study aims to represent a model for Persian prose analysis. The present research which has been done by descriptive analysis holds that setting the subject of the text, correlation between the text and influential factors, and also the place of text in the circles of formation and transformation of prose are among helpful contributing elements in prose analysis. As an introduction to perform the above mentioned model, it is deemed appropriate to research on the genuine features of Persian language and the accurate developmental stages of Persian spoken and rhetorical language as two seminal forms effective in the evolution of Persian prose. Abu Mansuri Shahnameh, with epic and national theme and settling at a critical moment meeting of conversation, rhetoric and written Persian prose, considers prose independence and by adhering to the subject of originality of language, attention to indigenous criterion in using the Arabic language, Observance of natural rhetoric is a reliable model for Persian language writers.
