Investigating the Impact of Transformational Leadership on the Promotion of Strategic Thinking at the NAJA Organizational Level in the Disciplinary Command of Mazandaran Province
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and strategic thinking at the organizational level of NAJA. This research has been done with a descriptive correlational approach through the distribution of 214 questionnaires among the staff of the Mazandaran Disciplinary Command. The standard Multi-Factor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) and the researcher-made strategic thinking questionnaire were used to collect research data. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by respected professors and its reliability was obtained using Cronbach's alpha formula for the Transformational Leadership Questionnaire 0.84 and the Strategic Thinking Questionnaire 0.92, respectively. For data analysis, correlation, regression and Friedman test were used using SPSS software. Findings show that transformational leadership and its components have a positive and significant effect on strategic thinking at the NAJA level.. Among the dimensions of transformational leadership, the dimension of mental motivation had the highest and the dimension of individual considerations had the lowest correlation coefficient with strategic thinking. Also, the fifth test based on Friedman test shows that mental motivation with a coefficient of 2.64 is in the first priority, therefore it has the greatest effect on strategic thinking and then the ideal influence with a coefficient of 2.50 in the second priority and motivation with inspiration. Individual considerations with a coefficient of 2.42 are in the fourth and final rank, thus having the least effect on strategic thinking in the NAJA.
