The Effectiveness of Sexual Health Education on Satisfaction with Life and Reduction of Social Damage in Couples in Ravansar

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of sexual health education on life satisfaction and reduction of social injuries in couples in Ravansar city in the years 2019-2020. In this study, a pretest-posttest design with control group was used. In the current study, 30 women with low life satisfaction and high social injuries were selected through a purposeful sampling method and randomly assigned to two groups by using a researcher-made Diner's life satisfaction questionnaire 15 test and control subjects were replaced. The experimental group consisted of 12 sessions of sexual health training once a week for 2 hours on the experimental group and the control group participants were put on the waiting list. The results of the analysis of independent covariance analysis showed that education of sexual health increases life satisfaction and decreases social damages in couples. The most important results of this study are the effectiveness of sexual health education in promoting life satisfaction and reducing social damages. Therefore, it can be concluded that education of sexual health is effective in increasing life satisfaction and reducing social damages in couples.
