Simulation Training Method and its Application in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training
Cardiovascular problems are the first cause of global mortality. However, by providing timely and appropriate pre-hospital services, it is possible to save the lives of millions of people and prevent many disabilities. Therefore, choosing the best training methods to improve people’s knowledge and skills is necessary.
this article is a review article by using a regular search of internet resources in the databases of Elsevier, Pub Med, Google Scholar, Magiran, and Science Direct between 2010 and 2019, and library resources with keywords of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, education methods, and simulation.
Learning Psychomotor skills and increasing knowledge in the field of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is not possible except with proper training method and repeating training. Video playing, role-playing, lecturing, demonstration and using simulation methods are common methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation teaching. Training in clinical skills learning center provides an opportunity for learners to use a variety of teaching aids, models and mannequins to enhance their clinical and communication skills in a calm and controlled environment.
Discussion and conclusion:
Each teaching method leads to learning, but the depth and sustainability of learning varies in different methods. Due to the fact that in practical and demonstration methods in simulated environments, the environment is close to reality and the learner assumes herself in that environment and can practice indefinitely with the least stress, learning can be more effective and more lasting
