Identifying the components of organizational value management in the educational system: application of a qualitative approach

Abstract:
Introduction

The role of organizational values ​​as a strategic element in evaluating the performance of successful organizations has long been considered by researchers. The aim of this study was to identify the components of organizational value management in the educational system using qualitative approaches.

Methods

In the present study, organizational values ​​were considered from a multidimensional and holistic perspective. Through semi-structured interviews with educational experts of Alborz province, the dimensions, components and indicators of organizational values ​​in the educational system were identified. In order to collect data, non-probabilistic judgment and snowball sampling methods were used and the interview process with experts continued until theoretical saturation. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using the qualitative method of content analysis and Nvivo software and the reliability coefficient of the interviews was confirmed using the Kappa intra-subject coefficient.

Results

The results of data analysis representing 6 main themes, 3 sub-themes and 51 concepts related to organizational values ​​were studied and identified.

Conclusion

Belief in the importance of values ​​and their role in organizational success is one of the main infrastructures for the implementation of values. In other words, one cannot expect their crystallization in behavior until one can create belief in values. so; The necessity and importance of values ​​and their role in individual and organizational success must be expressed in a way that becomes a belief in the minds of employees.
