Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of women in socio-cultural development of the village, with emphasis on rural women's cooperatives in the city of Sari by qualitative and quantitative method. The statistical population of rural women was literate in Sari city. The sample size of the research sample was 382, ​​the sample samples were 18 samples. The data gathering tool was interviewed in the qualitative section and a researcher made a small part of the questionnaire. The findings of the research showed that among the variables explaining the social and cultural components of development: networks, common norms, co-operation and mutual cooperation, solidarity and solidarity and participation that are not only dimensions of social and cultural development and are effective in sustainable development of the region. . Based on the t-test, with 95% confidence, rural women play a role in the socio-cultural development of the village. From the point of view of cooperative women, rural women's cooperatives play a significant role in the socio-cultural development of the villages in the study area.
