A Meta-Analysis of the Role of Religious Components in the Social Security
Religion plays an important role in providing a sense of individual and collective peace. It is one of the informal mechanisms of community control to avoid social anomalies, crime and insecurity. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of religious components in the sense of security.
The mechanism for conducting the research is meta-analysis quantitatively. The purpose of this method is to integrate, systematically review, and to integrate studies in a given area of research. The statistical population of the study consisted of 37 studies, 23 samples of which were selected with the aim of identifying and quantifying their impact.
Descriptive findings indicate that six types of religiosity (belief, ritual, affective, consequential, empirical, intellectual) were identified in relation to religiosity and security. The analytical findings of the study indicate that security as the main dependent variable is influenced by belief (Effect size = 0.275), ritual dimension (Effect size = 0.241), emotional dimension (Effect size = 0.307), consequent dimension (Effect size 0.244 = 0.244). , The empirical dimension (Effect size = 0.449) and the intellectual dimension (Effect size = 0.427). Overall, the religiosity variables as a general indicator were able to explain 0.293 = Effect size, Z = 16.254 and social security 0.001 = sig.
