Abstract:
Beyond being a charter to increase Iranians’ awareness, the “statement of the second step to the revolution“ is a strategy which focuses on the institutionalization of revolution based on utilizing the history of Iran, human achievements, and the experiences of the first forty years of revolution. Undoubtedly, the realization of the provisions of this statement needs some strategies which by truly perceiving the bases of soft power of Iran can look for the ways to achieve new Islamic civilization. In this regard, one of the probable questions which may be proposed is that “what kind of semantic links does exist between soft power, new Islamic civilization, and achieving the statement of the second step to the revolution?” To find an appropriate answer (or answers), this paper has chosen a conceptual method based on the most important common factors between these three elements. It aims to reveal a meaningful and evolutionary relationship between soft power, new Islamic civilization, and the statement of the second step to the revolution and, then, to present a new plan to make a connection between the past, present, and future of the Islamic republic of Iran.
