Social Changes and Conflicts in the Family

Among the challenging topics that have great amount of importance, which can lead to various conflicts within the society, is the topic of social change. The occurrence of cultural, structural and social changes in society and the emergence of heterogeneous cultural waves that unfortunately have entered the family, has led to apostasy, irresponsibility, self-centeredness, hedonism, individualism and cultural distance between the two generations, which should undoubtedly be considered as one of the effects of social changes and cyberspace. Additionally the social developments have also created other conflicts with the entry of women into the labor market. Therefore, it becomes necessary to provide a religious solution to resolve such conflicts within the society. For doing so and in order to resolve the severe conflicts caused by social changes such as cyberspace and employment, religious resources should be used with an Islamic approach and the ethics of the Infallible Imams. Another solution is raising religious media literacy and re-embedding Islamic beliefs and cognitions and intellectual values by creating a positive feeling for religious teachings through radio and television and the religious elites of society, which can function as a platform for resolving conflicts and reaching harmony.
