Abstract:
Introduction

The aim of this study was to predict couple marital disaffection based on marital conflict and attachment styles (secure, avoidant and anxious).

Methods

The study design was descriptive correlational type and the statistic population included of all married students of Islamic Azad University Shahr Ghods branch in winter of 2015 which trough them 200 subject were selected by Multi-stage sampling method and with informed consent were entered. To collection the data, participants answered to Marital Disaffection Scale by Kayser (1996); Adult Attachment Scale by Collins & Read (1990) and Marital Conflict Scale-revised by Sanaee (2000). Data were analyzed using hierarchical regression analysis.

Results

The findings of this study showed marital conflict positively and significantly is predictor of couple marital disaffection.

Conclusion

Through attachment styles, avoidant attachment style and anxious attachment style positively and significantly and secure attachment style negatively and significantly is predictor of couple marital disaffection.
