The most important components of an effective model for secondary school principals in Lorestan province

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the most important components of an effective model for secondary school principals in Lorestan province. The research method was exploratory-confirmatory survey. The statistical population of the qualitative part of the research included 11 experts in the field of educational sciences and educational management and the statistical population of the quantitative part included all principals of secondary schools in Lorestan province with 411 people (211 men and 200 women). To determine the sample size, using Cochran's test, 199 people (102 males and 97 females) were selected as a statistical sample and selected by random cluster sampling. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and LISREL software. The validity of the data tool was confirmed by experts and its reliability was 0.96 by Cronbach's alpha test. The normality of the statistical population was measured by skewness test and confirmatory factor analysis and structural equations (path analysis) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the most important components of an effective model for secondary school principals are: 5 components (practical skills, management and leadership skills, intelligence and intellectual abilities, personality abilities and communication skills) with a good fit among school principals The second is secondary education in Lorestan province.
