The Model of Marriage Instability based on the Ego Strength with the Mediating Role of Pre-Marital Agreement
The present study was conducted with the aim of The model of marriage instability based on the Ego Strength with the mediating role of pre-marital agreement
The method of this research is descriptive and one of the examples of correlation schemes is path analysis. In this study, 438 couples were selected by convenience sampling. Participants were asked to complete the Sanaei Marriage Instability Index Questionnaire (2008), the Psychological Power Questionnaire of Igo Strom et al. (1997), and the pre-marital agreement Questionnaire. The research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical indicators including mean, standard deviation, and path analysis and structural equations using Emos software.
The use of structural equation modeling technique showed that all fitness indicators obtained from structural equation modeling analysis support structural model fit with the collected data (df / 2 /4 = 4,98, CFI = 0.910, 927). / 0 = GFI, 0.902 = AGFI and 0.68 = RMSEA). Based on this, the research hypothesis was confirmed and it was concluded that the quality of the primary object relationships and the ability of the ego through the mediation of agreement measurement predict the instability of marriage.
Therefore, experts in the field of mental health can consider appropriate psychological interventions to diagnose and screen the behaviors that affect the stability and instability of marriage, and treat these behaviors and recognize and control the factors influencing the creation of marital conflicts.
