A Study of Turkey's Foreign Policy and Positions in the Post-Islamic Awakening (Dimensions and Approaches)

Developments in Arab states that began in Tunisia in 2010 and spread to other countries, including Egypt and Libya, have provoked reactions from various governments, one of which is Turkey. During the AKP, Turkey has highlighted its presence in the Arab world and the Middle East, and the Islamic Awakening has provided an opportunity for government politicians to pursue their goals more seriously in the region by actively participating in these developments. This article tries to analyze the effect of the change in the attitude of Turkish politicians during the AKP and its active foreign policy towards the Islamic awakening in the Arab world, without wanting right or wrong, success or failure. Evaluate the success of Turkey's foreign policy. The main question to answer is whether the priority of Turkish foreign policy under the leadership of the ruling Justice and Development Party compared to previous periods regarding the recent developments in the region has undergone a transformation process or an evolutionary process? In order to answer this question, we have hypothesized that the Turkish effort and their main foreign policy priority is to join the European Union in Erdogan's cabinet, and in this respect remain faithful to Turkey's political-historical tradition and Ataturk's goals. In their foreign policy regarding the Islamic Awakening, they have tried to combine a set of sometimes conflicting policies of the previous cabinets and a multifaceted view instead of a single one. The present article examines this issue in the light of regional convergence and Turkey's declarative and practical policies.
