Analysis of Tourism Competition Management in Border Areas (Case Study: Baneh Border Area)
Border areas are such as geographical spaces that have been neglected in spite of the high capacity that they have. Over the last years, competitive advantage has been in the center of the discussion of most competitive strategies, and many discussions have been made about competitive advantage. The aim of this study is to investigate the advantage of tourism competition in the Baneh city. The method is descriptive - analytical and the objective is applicable. this research has been done in two dimensions. in the first step information was collected through library studies. in the second stage, based on data obtained from the tourism status of the study area, tourism goals to compete for most of the county in 1404-time horizon, then the important strategies to achieve these goals and tourism capability of the studied area. the Meta - swot software was introduced. the results showed most important advantages of tourism Baneh are lower prices of foreign goods than the rest of the country, the existence of multiple shopping centers, strategic border strategic position and high social security have the greatest degree of strategic fit with macroeconomic factors and high competitive advantage for the county. on the other hand, negative propaganda against border areas, lack of suitable infrastructure for tourism development, international sanctions and government discrimination have been recognized as the biggest obstacles to tourism development in Baneh county.
