Components and Content Validity of the Conceptual Model of Fear of God according to the ʿAllāmah Ṭabāṭabāʾī Viewpoint: A Mixed Approach
The development of a conceptual model of religious structures is the beginning of the study of their psychometrics. The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual model of fear of God from the perspective of ʿAllāmah Ṭabāṭabāʾī. The mixed research method is exploratory. The textual community is the written works of ʿAllāmah Ṭabāṭabāʾī and the textual sample is 10 related volumes of Al-Mizan Tafsir. The statistical population is doctoral researchers in humanities, and 9 people were selected for the available sampling method. The findings of the study show that fear of God consists of two components (feeling of anxiety, feeling of caring). Feelings of anxiety include two sub-components such as (unpleasant anticipation, threat of the goal), and feelings of care include two sub-components as (avoidance of the source of fear, perseverance in achieving the goal). The findings of the quantitative study show that the CVI index in the sub-components ranged from 0.88 to 1 and the CVR index in the sub-components ranged from 0.78 to 1. Therefore, the structure of fear of God has a conceptual model and content validity that can be measured in the form of making a tool.
