Identify and prioritize the vulnerabilities of employees in police operations and provide preventive solutions
Performing multiple risky operations in the police organization has doubled the vulnerability of employees.Since in order to reduce vulnerabilities, recognizing the vulnerabilities of employees is very important, so the main purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the vulnerabilities of employees in police operations and provide preventive solutions.
The present study is an applied research in terms of environment, field and objectives. In terms of descriptive nature, it is a qualitative analysis.The statistical population consists of police experts and specialists, who obtained theoretical saturation using purposive sampling method and interviewing 19 samples. Through individual interviews with purposefully selected scientific experts, the necessary qualitative data were collected and identified and analyzed using thematic analysis as comprehensive, organizing, and basic themes.
After analyzing the data by content analysis method, 5 main themes with 25 effective sub-themes in the field of structural damage including: decision making, training, performance appraisal, operational objectives, information technology, three main themes With15 effective sub-themes in behavioral dimension including:relief and defendants, behavioral and skill capability, organizational culture and 3 main themes with16 effective sub-themes in the following dimensions including: social and economic, infrastructure, legal contexts, identification Based on Mirzaei's three-pronged classification, it was classified as effective factors in the vulnerability of police officers in police operations.
The results indicate that the police in order to prevent injuries to employees in law enforcement operations should take a community-based approach to repair and eliminate the identified harmful factors and the results should be considered in staff empowerment programs.
