Provide a Model to Measure the Performance of Companies Outsourced to the Private Sector

The Privatization Agency annually evaluates the companies transferred to the non-governmental sectors. In this context, the present study evaluates selected transferred companies from the beginning of the eleventh Iranian government to 2015, in the three years before and all years after the transfer. These companies were ranked in three ways based on the difference in scores of criteria and indicators of the performance evaluation model. In this ranking, Abadan Power Generation Company was ranked first among all companies (with domestic and foreign sales) and companies without exports. Iran Airtour Company also won first place among exporting companies. Also, 65% of companies based on productivity criteria, 59% based on efficiency criteria, and 47% based on investment and development activity criteria have increased points compared to before the transfer. Finally, the number and percentage of companies with increase and decrease or no change than before the transfer have been calculated and analyzed separately by indicators.
