Investigating the effect of commanders' leadership styles on the effectiveness of resistance bases (Case study: one of the cities of Isfahan province)
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of commanders' leadership styles on the effectiveness of the activities of the city's resistance bases. The research method is "descriptive-survey" and has been done by field method. The statistical population of this study is the Basijis related to the resistance bases of the city, which includes the commanders and managers of the bases and the commanders and managers of the resistance areas and other Basijis including 2369 people. Cluster sampling was considered and 10 people from each base were considered and a total of 494 samples were analyzed for research. The research measurement tools are the standard leadership style questionnaire and the researcher-made questionnaire on the effectiveness of resistance bases. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by university professors and experts and the reliability of the effectiveness questionnaire was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha with a value of 0.95. Data were analyzed by SPSS software, Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, Spearman correlation coefficient and regression analysis. Among the studied styles, the effect of compassionate, counseling and participatory leadership styles on significant and positive effectiveness and authoritarian style are significant and negative. The results of this study showed that the highest effectiveness among the bases is related to the bases that use the participatory leadership style.
