Compilation of selection criteria for coaches and athletes of the Iran national basketball team by AHP method

The purpose of this study was to develop a model for selecting the head coach and athletes of the Iranian national basketball team using the hierarchical analysis (AHP) method. The applied research method was descriptive. Using the 360-degree technique, the community and statistical sample included presidents and directors of federations and clubs, coaches of club teams, basketball experts, masters of style in basketball, referees, players, reporters, members of the media and leaders. . The sampling method was selected as targeted and snowball. The tools used were interviews and library studies, the interviews were semi-structured. In data analysis, people were first allowed to record the interview, then the interviews were opened using code. In the next step, the open codes were defined as axial codes that were categorized using the hierarchical method of factor analysis.
