Content Analysis of high school first grade Persian textbooks based on six educational domains of The Educational system development document
The purpose of this study is to investigate level of attention to these areas in the first secondary Persian books (1399-1400) and to assess compliance of these books content with the mentioned areas. In this research, which has been done through quantitative content analysis method and considering sentence analysis unit, components related to each area (including religious and moral 31 components, social and political 9 components, biological and physical 4 components, scientific and technological 9 components, economic and…) were extracted and explained firstly according to objectives of document of fundamental change in mentioned grade. The text of these books was analyzed based on these components and data of each section were analyzed using statistical-descriptive indicators. According to obtained results out of 688 frequencies and components, field of religious and moral education got 262 units& field of bio-physical education got 19 unit having the highest and lowest frequencies, respectively. Also, the highest coefficient of importance (0.17176) and information load (0.99704) was given to religious, devotional and moral fields & field of social and political education possess the lowest coefficient of importance (0.15648) and information load (0.90833).Paying attention to religious and moral field in studied books is appropriate and in accordance with general objectives of fundamental change document as the first priority, but reviewing content of these works from perspective of bio-physical education and according to physical needs and age requirements of learners, seems necessary among first secondary students.
