The Effectiveness of Emotion-based Education on Emotional Divorce and Cold-Tempered Women in Isfahan with an Islamic
The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of emotion-oriented education on emotional divorce and coldtempered women in Isfahan with an Islamic approach.
The statistical population included all women who referred to counseling centers in Isfahan in 2019. A total of 30 people were selected from among the female patients referred to counseling centers in Isfahan and were assigned to two groups (15 experimental and 15 control). The research instruments included Guttman (2008) Emotional Divorce Questionnaire, Women's Sexual Performance Index (FSFI), Rosen et al. (2000) and Emotional Education Protocol, which were administered to the experimental group in 9 sessions. Data analysis was performed at two levels of descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (analysis of covariance) by SPSS software version 23.
The results showed that emotion-oriented education has a positive and significant effect on emotional divorce of women in Isfahan and the first sub-hypothesis was confirmed (P <0.05). Also, emotion-oriented training has an effect on cold-tempered women in Isfahan and the second sub-hypothesis was confirmed (P <0.05).
It is concluded that emotion-oriented education reduces women's emotional divorce and coldness, and if family counselors use this treatment, they can help reduce emotional divorce and reduce women's coldness.
