Determine the Level of Social Trust and the Factors Affecting it in Patients Admitted in Ali ibn Abi Talib HospitalHospital in Zahedan
Trust in connecting with others and asking for open acceptance and support from others is self-complementary in relationships and adapting to the expectations of others. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of social trust and the factors affecting it in patients admitted in different wards to Ali ibn Abi TalibHospitalHospital in Zahedan in 2018.
This was performed cross-sectional, descriptive-analytical study that determines the level of social trust and the factors affecting it in patients referring to Ali ibn Abi Talib Hospital in Zahedan in 2018. The sample size of 155 patients was selected. Sampling was by quota and proportional to the number of clients in each department. Patients were selected from each section in a non-probable and accessible manner. The Demographic Questionnaire (Age, Gender, Education Level, Reason, Accommodation, Income and Ethnicity) was considered that consisted of 20 questions (total scores obtained from answering the researcher's numerical questionnaire).
The present study showed that the relationship between gender, age, cause of reference, place ofresidence and ethnicity with the degree of social trust is significant. However, the relationship between the variables of the level of education and the patient's monthly income with the level of social trust is not significant (p value > 0.05).
If social trust is high among patients, it not only plays a role in the quality of social life of each patient, but also provides a healthy and positive life for all members of society and, consequently, the social environment.
