Abstract:

Abdul Karim Soroush's "Ideas of Apostolic Dreams" project has caused controversy in the scientific community. This idea has implications for various fields of study, including Islamic awakening studies. The present article deals with its implications for the field of Islamic awakening studies. (Problem) The present article examines this idea with a critical analytical method based on the verses of the Holy Quran (Method). Since Soroush's thought seeks to deny the expressive miracle of the Qur'an and desecrate this holy book, the premises and hypotheses of his thought can be criticized with valid and reasoned Qur'anic implications. The findings suggest that although Soroush's theories may have effects such as religious secularization and the spread of modern rationality in order to desecrate religion and the Qur'an as a true harbinger of the Islamic awakening, has always guided Muslims in the right direction and protected them from deviation.
