Abstract:
The value of working as one of the main elements of the community's construction and the indicators of the economic development of societies, is of great importance today. The aim of this study was to study the value of work among Yazdian citizens. This research was a quantitative correlation method and a survey method was used for its implementation. The statistical population of the study consisted of 17-65 year-old citizens of Yazd, and 405 respondents were selected based on Cochran's formula as the sample. The results showed that working has high value among the respondents. The results of regression showed that the variables of family socialization, amiability and economic facilities had a positive and significant relationship with the work. As the amount of these variables increases, the work value increases. However, the variables of fidelity and pleasure have a negative and significant relationship with the value of working so that the higher the amount of these variables will be reduced from the value of working.
