The role of principals 'ethical leadership in school organizational excellence mediated by teachers' psychological empowerment
The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of principals 'ethical leadership in school organizational excellence mediated by teachers' cognitive empowerment. The study population of all secondary school teachers in Sanandaj was 1132 people, from which a sample of 285 people was selected by simple random sampling method based on Krejcie Morgan table. The research method is quantitative, descriptive and correlational studies and structural equation modeling. Data collection tools were three ethical leadership questionnaires: Brown, Trovino & Harrison (2005), Spritzer's (1995) Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire and Deming (2003) Organizational Excellence Assessment Questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha test and confirmatory factor analysis were used to determine the reliability and validity of the instrument. . Confirmation path analysis was used to analyze the data using lisrel software. Findings showed that the principals 'ethical leadership and psychological empowerment of teachers have a significant effect on organizational excellence of the school at the level of 0.05. Ethical leadership through the mediation of teachers' psychological empowerment has an effect on school organizational excellence at the level of 0.05. Also, the variables of principals 'ethical leadership and psychological empowerment of teachers were able to explain 53% of the variance of the variable of organizational excellence in school.
