Conceptualization of religious concepts paves the way for the application of religious teachings at different levels of individual, family and social. The aim of this study was feasibility study of an intervention package based on the concept of closeness to God based on the thought of Allameh Tabataba'I (RA) to reduce anxiety symptoms. This research was an experimental study with a single-subject design with multiple baseline control with two-month follow-up. In this study, from all the people who referred to Mava counseling center for treatment of anxiety in 1396, 3 people were selected by purposive sampling. The Cattell Anxiety Inventory and the Spielberger Anxiety Inventory were used to collect data and the visual inspection method was used to analyze the data to assess the consequences of the intervention. The results show that the trend of general anxiety scores in all three clients, which has been increasing in the baseline stage, has decreased during the intervention sessions in all three clients and shows the improvement of clients. Statistical significance of recovery percentage and clinical significance of clients' improvement indicate the possibility of the effectiveness of this intervention package. Therefore, it can be concluded that the concept of closenessto God has the capacity for conceptualization and psychological analysis to facilitate the use of this concept to promote mental and spiritual health in society.
