Providing a Model for the Sustainability of Knowledge-Based Businesses in the Islamic Azad University

The aim of this study was to present a model for the sustainability of knowledge-based businesses in Islamic Azad University.

Research method in terms of purpose, basic-applied in terms of data type, mixed (qualitative-quantitative) of exploratory type; In terms of data collection time, it was cross-sectional and in terms of data collection method or the nature and method of research, it was a survey. The statistical population of the qualitative part of the research included all faculty members of Tehran universities. To determine the samples of this study and to determine this group of experts, purposive non-random sampling method was used for 20 people. The second group of the statistical population of this study included all the staff of Islamic Azad universities in Tehran, 2522 people, using Cochran's formula and cluster random sampling method, 310 people were selected as subjects. Semi-structured interview tools and a researcher-made questionnaire were used to collect data. The validity and reliability of the instruments were calculated, all of which were confirmed. The method of data analysis in the qualitative part was the data-based method and three-step coding. In the inferential and quantitative sections, one-sample t-test and structural equation modeling (confirmatory factor analysis) and SPSS-v21 and Smart PLS software were used to answer the research questions.

The results showed that individual, organizational and environmental factors affect the sustainability of business and business sustainability leads to social, economic and environmental achievements.

Finally, the model fit indices showed that the final research model had a good fit.
