Compiling Indicators of Problem-Based Approach in Quality Evaluation of Governmental Management curriculum and its implementation in Islamic Azad University
This study is introduced important indicators of problem-based curriculum.
The aim of current exploratory mixed method study was to compile indicators of problem-based curriculum on the bases of Klein's model (1991) and evaluating quality of curriculum of Governmental Management discipline based on compiled indicators.
Firstly in qualitative phase, through interviewing experts, 36 indicators were compiled. In quantitative phase, using compiled indicators, a questionnaire were administrated and completed by 92 participants including lecturers in Governmental Management.
Application of compiled indicators in curriculum evaluation of Governmental Management discipline revealed that the purpose, content, teaching- learning strategies, materials and resources, learning activities, evaluation, grouping, educational time and needed educational space in that discipline are unfavorable.
In order to motivating attentions to the problem-based curriculums, further evaluation studies should be done in other disciplines and backgrounds.
