Predicting the mental health of female high school students based on anxiety and social correlation caused by Covid disease-19
The aim of this study was to predict the mental health of female high school students based on anxiety and social correlation caused by Covid-19 disease. The research design was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population was all female high school students in Jolfa city in the academic year of 1300-1400, which was 672 people. , And social solidarity (based on the Keys and Shapiro Social Welfare Questionnaire, 2004) were assessed virtually through social media. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The results showed that anxiety in Covid-19 disease (negatively) and social correlation in Covid-19 disease (positively) correlated with mental health. Anxiety and social correlation with Covid-19 disease were also found to predict 45% and 24% of mental health changes, respectively. These results indicate the occurrence of positive and negative psychological and social effects during quarantine and have practical implications for the development of crisis interventions during the Covid-19 epidemic.
