Research Article: Analysis of the Strategic Gap of Command and Management of the Armed Forces Based on the Thought of the Imams of the Islamic Revolution

In the second step of the Islamic Revolution, the Armed Forces, as the main pillars of defense and security, must upgrade their defense and security capabilities to the level of the Islamic Revolution. One of the first and most important steps before making any decision and providing a way in this direction is to measure the gap between the current situation and the desired situation of the armed forces in various fields, especially defense and security, and since command and management is the bedrock of the armed forces. The main purpose of this study is to provide an analysis of the strategic gap between command and management in the armed forces based on the ideas of the Imams of the Islamic Revolution.The present study uses a mixed exploratory research strategy and based on the qualitative content analysis method, collects the necessary data from the statements, messages and measures of the Imams of the Islamic Revolution during the period 1340 to 1398 and using MaxQDA12 qualitative analysis software, 3172 cases, Coded, which resulted in the production of 116 factors. According to the statistical community of 40 experts and after forming matrices of evaluation of internal and external factors and drawing an evaluation chart and determining the strategic position, it was determined that the armed forces are in a weak position in the offensive zone and to achieve the desired position (area). Offensive), it is necessary to choose the approach to maximize the benefits and advantages of its strengths and opportunities.
