Marital infidelity is a phenomenon that affects the peace of mind of women and families and can cause serious psychological damage. Today, various approaches to couple therapy and family therapy have been developed with the aim of reducing conflicts and communication disorders between couples. The purpose of couple therapy is to help couples to better adapt to current problems and learn more effective methods of communication. Be. Research method in terms of purpose, applied; In terms of data collection method, it is quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The statistical population includes all the betrayed women in Kermanshah who have referred to Jorfa Psychological Counseling Center. The statistical sample of the study is 30 betrayed married women from the statistical population. Sampling method In the present study, sampling method is available. Data collection tools were group cognitive-behavioral couple therapy intervention, Basby Marital Quality Questionnaire (1995), Thompson and Walker Marital Intimacy Questionnaire and Beck Depression Inventory. Finally, it has been concluded that group cognitive-behavioral couple therapy has been effective on the quality of marital relationships of betrayed women in Kermanshah. Cognitive-behavioral group therapy has been effective on the marital intimacy of betrayed women in Kermanshah and group cognitive-behavioral couple therapy has been effective on marital depression of betrayed women in Kermanshah.
