Identifying the Components Affecting Social Capital on the National Authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Case Study: Professors of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz)
Political systems have always pursued their goals and aspirations since the establishment of the state, however, the mere formation of governments cannot lead to the attainment of their goals and aspirations; the main purpose of this article is to identify the influential components of social capital on the national authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The study population is the professors of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. 150 individuals were selected based on sampling estimation using SPSS Sample Power software in Power analysis path. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software. According to the findings, the components of social capital include political participation (r = 0.35), political trust (r = 0.45), national cohesion (r = 0.26), social support (r = 0.38), social security (r = 0.38). R = 0.78 and social responsibility (r = 0.67) are effective in realizing national authority. The results of regression analysis also show that the four variables of political trust, social cohesion, social security and social responsibility were respectively the most important predictors of the dependent variable namely national authority.
