Identifyication of the managerial intelligence components of the commanders and managers of police force in East Azerbaijan

The main purpose of this study is to identify the components of managerial intelligence of commanders and managers of police force in East Azerbaijan. The research is conducted in the category of applied research and a combination of exploratory method is used.  The statistical population of the quantitative section includes all commanders and managers of East Azerbaijan police force. A sample of 177 and 15 managers and commanders were selected by simple random sampling and purposeful sampling methods for quantitative and qualitative sections, respectively. The data gathering tool for quantitative secton was a researcher-made questionnaire with confirmed content and construct validity. Cronbach's alpha method was used to measure the reliability of the questionnaire.  The data gathering tool of the qualitative part was the semi-structured interview and triangulation of data and the purposeful sample selection methods were used to measure the believability, transferability and transmissibility of the interviews. The findings show that the managerial intelligence of police commanders and managers include ethical, social, political, emotional, cultural, spiritual, logical and strategic dimensions.
