Officers of Justice as arms of the judiciary has important role in the access to criminal justice and reach to efficient and favorable criminal system. Duties of Officers of Justice are determined in of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1392 and has taken great strides in this direction. Qualifying as an office, determining sanctions for violations of the law and obligation of them to respect the rights of citizens, are among the positive developments.
