Divorce Status in Iranian Provinces (2007 to 1394): Emphasizing on West Azarbaijan Province
In this article, we study the divorce process in the provinces of the Iran with emphasis on West Azarbaijan province (1386 to 1394). The results show that the divorce rate in the whole country and all the provinces of the country has an upward trend. The divorce rate in West Azarbaijan province has always been lower than the country's rate, but its high rate of growth relative to the country's rapid rise has led to convergence towards the country's rate. In 1394, for every 1,000 people, two divorces were recorded, and on average, for each six marriages, a divorce occurred in West Azarbaijan province. Correlation between development level and divorce rate indicates a positive relationship between these two variables. Considering the positive relationship between development and divorce and the fact that West Azarbaijan province has a lower level of development, and also considering the upward trend of divorce in this province in recent years, in the absence of systematic attention to this issue, it is projected that the province In the coming years, with the crisis of expansion, the province is expected to face divorce in the coming years with the spread of the crisis.
