Investigating related factors to high risk behaviors (Case Study: Students of Tabriz University)
The prevalence of high-risk behaviors among various social groups, including youth and adolescents, can be one of the main and important factors in compromising community and endangers the survival of a healthy and prolonged life. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the factors related to high risk behaviors among students of Tabriz University. The statistical population of the study is 15351 students of Tabriz University. The sample size is 375 according to the Cochran formula. The research method is Scrolling and sampling method is stratified sampling. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS software. The results of this research indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of religiosity and the variables of the incidence of high-risk behaviors. There was no significant relationship between the self-esteem variable and the occurrence of high-risk behaviors, and the main hypothesis in this case is rejected. Finally, the results of the difference in mean of high risk behaviors in terms of gender variable indicate that the incidence of high-risk behaviors among male and female students is different and in the 99% confidence level is significant. Also, the difference in mean of occurrence of high-risk behaviors in terms of marital status also indicates that the incidence of high-risk behaviors among married and single students is statistically significant at 99% confidence level and the main hypothesis is based on the mean difference of mean The occurrence of high-risk behaviors based on the variables of marital status and gender is confirmed.
