The Role of Family in preventing the tendency to addiction in adolescents and young adults in Tabriz
According to Director General Statistics Research and Training Center for Combating Narcotic Drugs of 2012, the number of one million and 325 thousand Iranians are addicted to drugs. About 45 percent of consumers fewer than 29 years and 30% between 30 and 39 years of age, given that the average age of onset of smoking in the population sample was 21 years really important, especially in the younger generation proposed prevention. Therefore this study of the functional role of the family in the prevention of addiction in adolescents and young adults was conducted in Tabriz.The study sample is all youth in Tabriz, of which 400 were selected as the sample by random sampling and completed the tendency to addiction questionnaire and the role of the family in addiction. Pearson correlation analysis results showed that families with addiction potential of personal and social aspects significant effect, but the tendency to addiction no significant effect on the environmental aspects and the general tendency to addiction is a significant relationship. Based on the theories of sociology and psychology is one of the important components in the prevention of addiction and the role of family structure, and training in connection with the teenagers and young families can be effective in preventing the tendency towards addiction.
