The statistical population included all clients of Golestan Counseling Center who were selected using available sampling method 45 people and were randomly assigned to two experimental groups (15 people in each group) and a control group of 015 people). The experimental groups participated in 8 sessions of reality therapy sessions (based on Sahebi source in 2019) and Jalastan behavioral cognitive therapy sessions (based on Halsent and Stevens source in 2010) in groups for 45 minutes. The instruments used were Corona Anxiety Inventory (Alipour et al., 2020) and Mourning Effects Questionnaire (Hogan et al., 2001). Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance and Bephroni post hoc test.
Cognitive-behavioral therapy and reality therapy reduced coronary anxiety and grief effects. Also, the effect of reality therapy on reducing coronary anxiety was greater than cognitive-behavioral therapy.
It can be said that reality therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy reduce coronary anxiety and grief effects and these therapies can be used to reduce coronary anxiety and grief effects of clients.
