Investigating vandalism among 15 to 25 youth A case study of: youth of Khoy county 1391 (2012)

With the development of urbanization, many various behaviors and phenomena in different societies such as Vandalism are appeared. Nowadays, by the development of cities, the social ills are expanding too which need special considerations. Vandalism is one of the issues affecting various communities and is like an important problem, and cause difficulties for society. This article aims to investigate effective factors of Khoy County's youth attitudes toward vandalistic behavior and suggest appropriate solutions for decreasing this problem. This study is a survey research. Population of this study was 15-25 year old youth of Khoy County and since the study of this population was not possible, 400 youth were selected by Cochran samples. Sampling was random, and the unit of analysis and the level of the analysis was micro. The validity of the questionnaires was approved by using Cronbach's alpha values which equals 76/0. Data were analyzed by SPSS software. The hypotheses of this research are as follow: the relationship between social solidity, anomie, monitoring, entertainment, and how to behave with friends based on vandalistic behavior variable. The results show that there is a significant relationship between all of the mentioned variables and tendency toward vandalistic behaviors
