Predicting of Couple Burnout based on Corona Virus Anxiety with Mediating role of Conflict Resolution Styles and Distress Tolerance
Corona virus control policies can lead to coronary anxiety disorder. Coronary anxiety disorder can affect all levels of life. The aim of this study was to predict couples marital based on coronavirus anxiety with the mediating role of Organizational Conflict Inventory and distress tolerance.
The present study was a correlational study. The statistical population of the study consisted of all couples applying for counseling services referring to psychology clinics in areas 5 to 8 of Tehran in 2021. Using purposive sampling method, 130 people (65 couples) were selected as a statistical sample. In order to collect data, were used questionnaires of couple burnout Measure Pines (CBM), Corona Anxiety Scale (CDAS), Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory-II (ROCI-II) and Distress Tolerance Scale (DTS). Pearson correlation coefficient, regression analysis and path analysis were used to analyze the data. SPSS and AMOS software version 26 was used for data analysis.
According to the research findings, coronary anxiety variable had a direct and significant effect on couples marital and was able to predict 47.6% of couples marital. Corona anxiety also explained 38% and 31% of the changes in couples marital due to the variables of Organizational Conflict Inventory and distress tolerance, respectively.
Coronary anxiety can increase couples marital, and of Organizational Conflict Inventory and Distress Tolerance can also mediate the relationship between the two variables.
