The effect of social capital and media consumption on couples' tendency to marital infidelity: a study in Semnan province
One of the traits in families is a phenomenon called "extramarital" or "infidelity". Many factors can contribute to the formation of a tendency to marital infidelity. The present paper has attempted to evaluate the effect of social capital on families of Semnan province cities and their media consumption and their effect on couples' tendency to marital infidelity.The statistical population of this study includes married people residing in Semnan province and the sample size is 401 people. The results show that there is a strong and inverse relationship between the tendency to marital infidelity and the social capital in the family. There is also a positive and moderate relationship between couples' tendency to marital infidelity and their Internet and satellite use, and a weak and inverse relationship between marital infidelity and domestic television viewing.The statistical population of this study includes married people residing in Semnan province and the sample size is 401 people.
