Investigating the opportunities and management challenges of outsourcing to the private sector in government sports organizations
The purpose of this study was to investigate the opportunities and management challenges of outsourcing to the private sector in government sports organizations. The research method was mixed. Data were obtained by studying 130 articles and interviewing 34 experts in the field of outsourcing. The Delphi method was used to reach a consensus. The statistical population of the interview consisted of all experts related to sports outsourcing in the country. The non-random sampling method was targeted and available and continued until theoretical saturation was achieved. The interviews were coded and the validity and reliability of the coding were examined. In a quantitative part, a questionnaire was designed. Content validity of the study was confirmed by 10 professors and Cronbach's alpha was used to determine the reliability. In order to measure the effect of factors, structural equation modeling in Smart PLS3 software was used. Research findings showed Sports managers can improve the performance and also increase the productivity of sports organizations and thus the growth of our country's sports by carefully examining the opportunities and challenges of outsourcing and the correct implementation of this strategy; Therefore, it is suggested that the esteemed government formulate comprehensive and strategic goals and programs related to outsourcing and privatization in sports using the outsourcing experiences of the past years and establish an efficient and strong control and supervision system in the matter of transfers.
