Abstract:
One of the important issues in research ethics in Islamic civilization, is knowing ethics as medicine. The origin of this trend can be considered as the influence of interpretive tradition on the ethicists. Inspired by Qur'anic concepts such as sickness and heart health, ethicists have studied moral virtues and vices with the sickness and health concept. Evidence for this theory, which has been examined in this article, can be traced by examining the meanings and aspects of "heart" and "sickness" as well as determining instances of heart sickness in the interpretations of the twelve verses "There is a sickness in their hearts". The commentators have helped to create a medical idea or medical model in the analysis of moral and intellectual sickness by mentioning the reasons why the Qur'an uses the word "sickness" in these verses. This could eventually lead to the idea of the Qur'anic health theory. This could eventually lead to the idea of a Qur'anic theory of health.
