Analysis of waste management in Gilan province

due to the lack of favorable waste management ,Guilan province with a fragile environment that has different ecosystems such as vast water resources and coastal areas,has exprienced adverse effects and harmfulness .In this province, due to the existence of numerous ecosystems, there has been the ability to develop human communities, which is one of the reasons for the formation of numerous human centers and the expansion of existing spaces. According to the latest statistics provided by the Guilan Municipalities Organization, the amount of daily waste in Guilan was approximately 2500tons (June 1398), which according to the latest statistics of the population census of Guilan province (1395census) 2530696, per capita daily waste production per the person in Guilan is0.987grams. The purpose of this analytical study is descriptive and analytical method on waste disposal management in Guilan. After summarizing, the data analysis method with the swot model was used to access the results. The study area of this research is Guilan province. The results of the research have shown that the majority of the measures taken in the province of Guilan have not been effective and have caused disruption in the environment and the nature of the region. In addition, the lack of waste management centers and the lack of codified and continuous programs, lack of implementation of educational and cultural programs, has caused dissatisfaction of the residents of this beautiful area rich in pristine nature. The consequences of this policy will cause irreparable damage, both in the short and long term, economically, socially and culturally.
