Designing a Model for Developing Managerial Knowledge Based on Moral Virtues and Religious Teachings among Managers in Kermanshah

Abstract:
This study has examined the role of principles and foundations of Islamic management as well as ethical virtues in the development of managers' knowledge. The research method is applied based on the purpose of the study, survey research based on the method of data collection, and the type of correlation schemes is the method of path analysis and structural equation model. The statistical population was the general managers of government departments and organizations in Kermanshah province, Iran. The statistical community consisted of 110 departments, which according to Morgan table, the sample size was 86 people. 79 people (91.8%) answered the questionnaire. The measurement tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The findings of exploratory analysis indicated that the effects of Islamic management principles, ethical virtues, and management techniques on the development of Islamic management knowledge are significantly different in terms of male and female managers. The results showed that the variable of Islamic management principles with a direct effect coefficient of 0.509 was able to predict 30.8% of the total variance (changes) in the development of managerial knowledge. In general, the variables of Islamic knowledge management principles, ethical virtues, and management techniques have been able to explain and predict 68.1% of the changes in the variable of the managers' knowledge development. A significant coefficient related to the moderating variable showed that the factors of non-realization of Islamic management (0.204) did not have a significant effect on non-realization of Islamic management.
