Using Data Oriented Theory for Tabriz Traffic Modeling

Abstract:

Traffic congestion has become a major concern in many cities throughout the world, but it is quite difficult to improve the performance of urban traffic efficiently by using traditional methods of modeling because of complexity in the system and Tabriz is not an exception. Traffic control system divided to two methods. First method is a traditional method that reduces the traffic by using bridges and new streets. This method couldn’t help to solving the traffic problems in long time. Second method is the intelligent transportation system that uses the intelligent methods for solving the traffic problems. To model the traffic of Tabriz and to develop an intelligent managing system to control the Traffic is crucial. Thus, to do so, the concepts of Labeled Hyper Multi Digraph (LHMD) and Labeled Multi Digraph (LMD) as Data-Oriented models are introduced in this paper. This will be the first and essential step to design Intelligent Transportation Systems for controlling Tabriz traffic.
